Lietuvos statybinių medžiagų pakartotinio naudojimo optimizavimo platforma (LSEPO)
Platforma sukurta naudojantis „Civilinės inžinerijos mokslo centro“ (Projekto Nr. S-A-UEI-23-5) infrastruktūra pagal Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijos programą „Universitetų ekscelencijos iniciatyvos“, patvirtintą remiantis 2022–2030 m. plėtros programos valdytojos Lietuvos Respublikos švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijos mokslo plėtros programos pažangos priemonės Nr. 12-001-01-01-01 „Gerinti mokslo ir studijų aplinką“ aprašu.Lithuanian Construction Materials’ Reuse Optimisation Platform (LSEPO)
The platform was developed using the infrastructure of the Civil Engineering Scientific Research Center (Project No. S-A-UEI-23-5) under the "University Excellence Initiatives" program of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, approved on the basis of the 2022–2030 development program of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania, progress measures of the science development program no. 12-001-01-01-01 "Improving the science and study environment".
About the platform
The Lithuanian Construction Materials’ Reuse Optimization Platform (LSEPO), developed by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and the Lithuanian Construction Association, is an open, real-time collaboration platform that provides opportunities for construction companies, large-scale construction waste collection companies, residents and other interested parties to offer unused construction materials and waste to the market in order to ensure their reusability.
The main functions of the platform:
• Collects information and data on construction material waste from construction sites, warehouses, collection, recycling and trading sites and residents and presents it on a unified digital platform.
• On the platform, the users can search for information about the offered unused construction materials and find relevant suppliers.
• The search subsystem allows users to search, filter and compare thousands of building material alternatives based on price, location, pickup time and other parameters, contact suppliers and order the building materials they need.
• The platform performs a multi-criteria analysis and selects the most rational alternatives to make the reuse of construction material waste more efficient and at the same time reduce transportation costs and emissions along the entire value chain.
• The platform helps to offer unused construction materials and construction waste to the market, thereby contributing to the reuse of construction materials and waste reduction, cooperation for sustainability in the field of construction and demolition works.
